Win A $1,000 Donation for Your Favorite Local Charity!
At the office of double board-certified Atlanta plastic surgeon Dr. John LeRoy, we have been extremely fortunate. Every day, we have the honor of working with terrific patients to help them feel more confident in their own skin, and we are grateful to be part of such a supportive and wonderful community.
Several times each year, we show our appreciation by donating $1,000 to a local charity that can use it to make a difference for the community, and it’s time for our first giveaway of 2015! Now through Friday, February 27th, you can nominate your favorite local charity on our Facebook page. Then, starting on Monday, March 2nd, you’ll be able to vote on which of the four selected charities will receive a donation of $1,000 in their nominator’s name.
How to Enter the Charity Contest:
- Go to LeRoy’s Facebook page and click “Like” if you haven’t already.
- Find the post pinned to the top of the page instructing you to enter the contest.
- Under the photo, comment with the name of the charity you are nominating, as well as 50 words or less explaining why you think they deserve the donation.
- Nominations will close on Friday, February 27th, 2015 and we will select the top four charities by considering the charity’s impact on the nominator and ability to put the resources to good use.
- Everyone who has “Liked” our Facebook page will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite of the top four charities through our Facebook page from Monday, March 2nd, 2015 until Monday, March 23rd, 2015. The charity with the most votes will be announced on Tuesday, March 24th on our blog and on social media.
What are the qualifications for the nominations?
For a nomination to be permitted, it must meet the following criteria:
- The charity must hold a 501 (c)(3) non-profit distinction.
- The charity must be in Georgia.
- The nominator must be at least 18 years of age.
- Each nominator may only nominate one charity.
- The charity must contribute to a greater good, identifiable through a published mission statement.
- The charity may not be a previous charity contest winner.
Entry into the charity contest is completely free! Simply follow the instructions and guidelines above, and you can help us support the organizations that provide valuable services to our community.
