After extended closure due to COVID-19, we are now open and ready to get back to doing what we do best, serving you! As a plastic surgeon, I understand that COVID-19 is a large concern for many of my patients. That is why I, Dr. John LeRoy have decided to dedicate this page on my website to keep my patients informed on our current in-office precautions and patient expectations during COVID-19. I passionately believe that if we all work together, we can help minimize not only our own risk of exposure, but also the risk of those around us. Keep reading for more information. We will continue to update this information as protocols change. Thank you for choosing us for your aesthetic needs.
Office Precautions
Our office is now equipped with high efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filters for sanitized airflow and has been temporarily stripped of magazines to minimize the chance of contaminated materials. Our office is also being sanitized both thoroughly and frequently throughout the day and at the end of each day.
Staff Precautions
Our staff is being regularly screened for COVID-19 symptoms, wearing advanced safety equipment, increasing hand and office sanitation protocol, and are practicing social distancing both in and out of the office.
Patient Expectations
For the health and safety of everyone, it is important that our patients arrive on time. Patients who are 15 minutes late for their appointment will be asked to reschedule. We have carefully scheduled appointments to minimize patient overlap and allow us enough time to sanitize thoroughly between patients. We have done this to minimize the number of people in-office and therefore the overall risk of COVID-19 exposure to our patients and staff. All patients will be asked to complete a preliminary phone screening prior to their appointment, as well as an additional survey and temperature check when they arrive. All patients should wear a mask. Please do not bring any additional persons to your appointment—this includes children, family, friends, and neighbors. For those who have scheduled procedures, we ask that you practice social distancing both one week prior to your appointment and one week after your appointment regardless of your age, condition, or projected recovery time. All patients will be asked to sign additional COVID-19 documentation in preparation for any procedure.
COVID-19 has not been easy to navigate, but with your cooperation and support, we are proud to provide safe and effective care. If you are interested in scheduling an appointment, please contact our office at (404) 843-0840. We look forward to seeing you again soon!
