Band Aid Micro Mini Facelift
Performed in Atlanta, GA by Dr. John L. LeRoy.
As a double board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. John LeRoy recognizes the importance of tailoring each patient’s cosmetic procedure to their needs. That’s why he developed the innovative Band Aid Mini Facelift, which he’s been performing with exceptional results since 1997. Like the rest of his line of minimally invasive Band aid plastic surgery procedures, the Band Aid Facelift achieves natural-looking results but with approximately half the recovery time and a dramatically lower cost than a traditional face lift, all using gentle numbing rather than general anesthesia.
The goal of Band Aid procedures is to create incremental improvements with as little inconvenience to the patient as possible, and in the case of the Band Aid Facelift, this generally takes the form of a new surgery every eight to ten years as new signs of aging arise. However, many patients don’t want to wait until a new Band Aid Facelift is necessary before refreshing their results. As a result, Dr. LeRoy has developed the new Band Aid Micro Mini Facelift.
The Procedure
While plastic surgery can have a powerful impact in repairing the effects aging has had on your appearance, medical science has not yet found a way to stop future aging from occurring. Therefore, in the years after your face lift (or your Band Aid Mini Facelift), your now-firm skin will eventually develop new wrinkles and laxity. It typically takes eight to ten years for this to progress far enough to warrant a new Band Aid Facelift or traditional face lift, but for patients who prefer a “touch-up” or “maintenance” in the meantime, the Band Aid Micro Mini Facelift is often an ideal choice around three or four years after their procedure.
Using minimally invasive techniques, Dr. John L. LeRoy removes excess sagging skin and repositions the facial tissue as needed for a more youthful and refreshed appearance. Depending on your individual needs, the procedure may focus on the jowls or jawline, the neck, the cheekbone area, or elsewhere. All this is done in-office using gentle numbing (without the need to be “put to sleep” using general anesthesia) as well as conscious sedation if desired. While the Band Aid Mini Facelift already leads to less swelling and bruising and half the recovery time of a traditional facelift, the Band Aid Micro Mini Facelift cuts the downtime in half once again, letting patients return to their daily routine even sooner.
Frequently Asked Questions about the Band Aid Micro Mini Face Lift
How much does the Band Aid Micro Mini Facelift cost?
Every patient’s surgery is unique, so the pricing depends on your unique facial anatomy and what will be required to reach your desired results. However, keep in mind that the less invasive a surgery is, the less expensive it generally is. The Band Aid Micro Mini Facelift is significantly less expensive than even my Band Aid Facelift, which already offers a much lower price than a traditional facelift.
How do I know if I need a Band Aid Micro Mini Facelift or a Band Aid Facelift?
There are many nuances to determining the right cosmetic surgery for each patient, so there’s not a simple checklist you can use to find out which procedure you should choose. However, after over twenty years of specializing in facial plastic surgery (especially facial rejuvenation), Dr. LeRoy has developed the expertise to recommend the ideal procedure for you after examining your facial features and discussing your priorities in your plastic surgery consultation.
How long will the results of my Band Aid Micro Mini Facelift last?
The more extensive a face lift is, the longer it will take before aging catches up and you find yourself looking similar to your pre-surgical appearance. Because a Band Aid Micro Mini Face Lift is intended to be a very light “refresher” surgery, the results typically last around three to four years.
