Band Aid Mini Facelift 101
You’ve likely heard about a traditional facelift from friends, the news, or referenced in pop culture. It’s one of the most well-known cosmetic surgeries because of its lasting reputation as a long-term solution for facial aging. However, if you’re not interested in making drastic improvement and would prefer a more subtle option, Dr. John LeRoy offers his signature Band Aid Mini Facelift. To give you the inside scoop on this procedure, we’re going over the basics in a crash course about this advanced cosmetic procedure.
The right candidate for a Band Aid Mini Facelift.
Just like with people, there is not a one-size-fits-all cosmetic treatment. Therefore, it’s important to determine if a Band Aid Mini Facelift is the right procedure to fit your personal cosmetic goals. This can be accomplished during an in-person consultation at Dr. John LeRoy’s office. While at your appointment, he will carefully assess your unique facial features to determine if a Band Aid Mini Facelift is the right match.
Understanding what a Band Aid Mini Facelift can do for your look.
The main goal of this procedure is to make the face look younger while maintaining a subtle quality, without appearing like you had work done on your face. With help from a Band Aid Mini Facelift, sagging skin and drooping facial features can be lifted and tightened, taking years off of your appearance. Dr. John LeRoy has performed this procedure on over 6,000 patients, so he has extensive experience with treating a diverse set of facial structures and signs of aging. Band Aid Mini Facelifts incorporate a customization process that gives each patient more control over their own outcome—meaning that this procedure is designed to tailor improvements according to the patient’s desires.
The advantages of a Band Aid Mini Facelift.
Patients can rest comfortably through their Band Aid Mini Facelift procedure because it’s performed in-office with gentle numbing instead of the standard general anesthesia. Other key advantages include a lower cost and faster recovery time compared to a traditional facelift. This makes it an incredibly convenient procedure because it won’t interrupt your schedule or be a potential financial burden.
The combination possibilities with a Band Aid Mini Facelift.
Everyone likes a team player. A Band Aid Mini Facelift is exactly that. It combines very well with other cosmetic procedures like a blepharoplasty, neck lift or brow lift. When these cosmetic procedures are performed within the same time frame, the overall facial rejuvenation is more comprehensive and beneficial.

Understanding Male and Female Breast Reduction
When it comes to creating the right look for a patient, there’s no one-size-fits-all approach. Dr. John LeRoy is highly experienced with combining each person’s goals, their unique physical characteristics, and a specialized cosmetic procedure to create a singular and personalized transformation.
Breast shape and size are factors that can affect self-confidence in both men and women. Oversized breasts can create an imbalance in overall symmetry and in some cases potentially lead to health problems. That’s why we offer a breast reduction procedure for patients who are dissatisfied with their appearance. To help provide clear information about breast reduction, we’re providing a quick and helpful explanation of this procedure.
The difference between male and female breast reduction
Generally, men and women have different needs when it comes to a breast reduction procedure. For women, the goal is typically to remove excess breast tissue, fat and skin so the breasts are lifted and shaped. Large breasts cause droopiness, pain in the shoulders, back and neck, and an imbalance with other features. Most female patients need about 1-2 weeks of recovery time before returning to their normal schedules. Women who are planning on having kids in the future should consult with double board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. John LeRoy to discuss their options, since pregnancy causes rapid changes to a woman’s physique.
One of the most common reasons that men seek out a breast reduction is because of a condition called gynecomastia. Essentially, it causes men to develop a surplus of breast gland tissue, which is typically caused by a hormonal imbalance between estrogen and testosterone. It can affect one or both breasts, causing a sizable population of men to feel self-conscious. Some men feel embarrassed about having oversized breasts, but male breast reduction surgery is now one of the most popular cosmetic procedures for men.
A male breast reduction procedure is designed to remove fat and glandular tissue to create more masculine definition. The goal is reduce the size of breast tissue while shaping it to look proportionate to a patient’s other physical features. Results from this procedure look natural and they often give men much more confidence in themselves. Since less tissue is typically removed during a male breast reduction, patients tend to only require 1 week of recovery time before returning to their daily routines.
How do I know if I need a breast reduction procedure?
The only way to truly know if a breast reduction procedure is right for your needs is by scheduling an in-person consultation with Dr. John LeRoy. He will determine whether or not it’s the right fit for you based on your lifestyle and body type.

Dr. John LeRoy’s 2019 Fall Charity Contest
Local charities are crucial institutions that bring people together to create positive change in the community. Each season, Dr. John LeRoy hosts a social media contest to help raise money for a local charity. He likes to personally involve the community by asking for people to directly post their nominations and votes on his Facebook page. Every charity contest is intended for organizations that haven’t won in the past, to give everyone a fair chance. Over the years, we have made contributions to charities in many different categories, and we have always appreciated the amazing responses. For our Fall 2019 charity contest, the category will be groups that benefit people with learning disabilities.
The Fall 2019 Charity Contest nomination process
There are two main components to Dr. John LeRoy’s fall charity contest: the nomination period and voting process. You can nominate a charity that benefits people with learning disabilities until October 25th, 2019. On the pinned Facebook post made by Dr. John LeRoy, participants can directly place their nominations into the comment section. On October 26th, we’ll tally up all the votes to determine the top 4 nominees, which will all be publicly acknowledged. At the risk of disqualification, each participant may only comment once with their vote and all nominations must be local organizations that haven’t been previous winners of Dr. John LeRoy’s charity contests.
The voting protocol for Dr. John LeRoy’s Fall 2019 Charity Contest
Once the top 4 charities have been decided in the category of learning disabilities, participants can cast their votes. Voting will be open for 3 weeks, until November 18th, 2019. Just like the nomination process, participants can cast their votes by commenting on Dr. John LeRoy’s Facebook post. Each person can only vote once for an organization, and it must not be a previous winner of a charity contest. After the voting period has ended, we’ll count all the votes in the comment section to find out which organization has won. The winning charity will receive $1000 from Dr. John LeRoy to benefit their cause.
We encourage you to participate in this fall charity contest to help us select a deserving, charitable organization. Learning disabilities are neurological issues that prevent people from developing certain skills like reading, writing, memory, math, organization, etc. We’re thrilled to be able to support an organization that helps people improve their cognitive abilities.
