Band Aid Plastic Surgery Featured in Atlanta Magazine
As a double board-certified plastic surgeon, I love helping all my patients achieve results that make them feel like their most beautiful and confident selves, but I’m best known in the Atlanta community for developing the Band Aid Plastic Surgeries. Recently featured in Atlanta Magazine, my Band Aid procedures are minimally invasive versions of traditional plastic surgeries, and because they can be performed in-office with gentle numbing, they carry fewer risks than a surgery that uses general anesthesia, and patients find themselves with minimal scarring and downtime but noticeable, natural-looking results.
I developed the Band Aid Facelift, my first Band Aid procedure, nearly twenty years ago, and it remains one of my most popular surgeries. But many patients don’t realize how many other Band Aid procedures I’ve added to the roster since then:
- Band Aid Blepharoplasty – cosmetic surgery for the eyelids, either to improve sagging skin that gives the eyes a “hooded” appearance, or to remove puffy “bags” under the eyes
- Band Aid Brow Lift – lifts drooping skin around the eyes and the forehead
- Band Aid Laser Skin Resurfacing – skin treatment that uses tiny beams of light to perforate precise areas of the skin, causing new collagen to form and improving the appearance of wrinkles, age spots, acne scars/facial scarring, and lax skin
- Band Aid Skin Tightening – non-surgical procedure in which the Protégé system uses targeted warmth to stimulate collagen production and make the skin firmer and more youthful
- Band Aid Arm Lift – removes mild amounts of excess skin that sags from the underside of the upper arm, which can be caused by weight fluctuations or aging, and removes unwanted fat in the area if necessary
- Band Aid Tummy Tuck – excises loose skin from the abdomen using a smaller incision than a traditional tummy tuck and focusing only on the lower areas that need improvement
- Band Aid Liposuction – uses tiny incisions and narrow tubes to remove small, localized pockets of unwanted fat from areas like above the elbow, around the knees, under the chin, and on the lower abdomen
Band Aid plastic surgery procedures can be a great way to attain natural-looking results with minimal scarring and recovery time, but this is only true for the right patient. Choosing the best cosmetic procedure for your unique needs and concerns is a key step in getting the best possible results.
