My Top Minimally Invasive Procedures for Facial Aging

Aging happens to all of us, and it’s nothing that should cause shame or embarrassment. At the same time, I live by the philosophy that every patient deserves to feel confident in the way they look, and for some people, that involves reducing fine lines, wrinkles, sagging skin, and other signs of facial aging.

Fortunately, thanks to modern medical advancements, there are plenty of ways to get the facial rejuvenation results you want without an extensive surgery and lengthy recovery time. Minimally invasive facial procedures are my specialty, so to give you an idea of your options, I’ve put together an overview of the most popular minimally invasive procedures for facial aging at my practice.

Band Aid Mini Facelift and Band Aid Micro Mini Facelift

The facelift is the classic cosmetic surgery most people think of when they think about looking younger. However, I combined minimally invasive methods to create a version of the facelift that can be performed in-office with gentle numbing rather than general anesthesia, and it allows me to give you natural-looking results with about half the recovery time of a standard facelift. This is my Band Aid Mini Facelift, and it has been the most popular surgery for my patients for 25 years. For patients who want to touch up their facelift or who want to reduce more subtle signs of aging, I offer my Band Aid Micro Mini Facelift as well.

Band Aid Eyelid Surgery

The upper and lower eyelids are common “problem areas” in facial aging. The upper eyelids can develop sagging skin and make you look more tired than you truly are, and under-eye bags can develop along with sagging skin in your lower eyelids, leading to an aged look as well. Whether you are seeing aging on your upper or lower eyelids, or both, my Band Aid Eyelid Surgery is an in-office procedure I perform with gentle numbing to revitalize your eyelids and your appearance.

Cosmetic Facial Injections

To target specific facial wrinkles, fine lines, facial hollows, or thin areas, cosmetic facial injections are often your best bet. These non-surgical treatments use specialized medications including Botox®, Dysport®, or facial fillers like Restylane® or Juvederm® to precisely smooth or fill in these areas. While your specific treatment will depend on your aesthetic goals, these procedures are brief and require no downtime for recovery other than a few days of swelling and bruising.

Band Aid Lip Augmentation

While some people have naturally thin lips at any age, many people find that as they get older, their lips begin losing volume. If you would like to add or restore some volume and shape to your lips, my Band Aid Lip Augmentation is a simple and non-surgical option. During the treatment, I inject dermal fillers and shape them strategically to make your lips look naturally soft and voluminous.

Band Aid Laser Skin Resurfacing

What’s the Difference Between a Band Aid Mini Facelift & Band Aid Micro Mini Facelift?

For decades, I have been known not only as a double board-certified plastic surgeon who specializes in facial rejuvenation but also as the innovator of my Band Aid Mini Facelift. This minimally invasive facelift surgery is designed and customized to give each patient natural-looking yet youthful results. Because I use minimally invasive techniques and perform the procedure in-office with gentle numbing rather than in an operating room with general anesthesia, the Band Aid Mini Facelift only requires about half the recovery time of a traditional facelift.

In recent years, though, I have also been serving patients who want an even less invasive and more subtle procedure with my Band Aid Micro Mini Facelift. Essentially, if a Band Aid Mini Facelift is half as invasive and requires half the downtime of a traditional facelift, the Band Aid Micro Mini Facelift cuts this reduced downtime in half yet again.
