Georgia statewide reopening

Dear patient,
I hope this message finds you in good health and even better spirits. As many of you may know, our doors have been closed since March 16th, 2020 in observance of the statewide shelter in place legislation from Georgia Governor Kemp. However, in light of the lifting of this order, we will be reopening our plastic surgery office soon to resume serving you. We have taken great thought and care in the reopening of our plastic surgery office to best serve you and safeguard your health. Rest assured that we are taking advanced COVID-19 precautions including:

• Installing high efficiency particulate air filters (HEPA) throughout our offices.
• Conducting preliminary phone screenings.
• Wearing advanced safety equipment.
• Increasing hand sanitation protocol.
• Socially distancing in waiting and exam rooms.
• Checking patient temperatures.
• Cleaning thoroughly in between patients in exam rooms and common areas.
• Limiting entry to one person per appointment.
• Removing all magazines from our lobby.

As we are adamant about doing our part, we kindly ask that all patients do their part as well. This includes:

• Arriving on time. We will not accept patients who are more than 15 minutes late. We ask this for smooth patient transition and adequate time for sanitation and patient screenings.
• Complying with a preliminary phone screening prior to your appointment.
• Answering a small health survey and having your temperature taken upon arrival.
• Wearing a mask upon entrance to the building.
• Practicing social isolation for one week prior and one week after surgical procedures.

Please continue to practice CDC guidelines including social distancing, proper handwashing hygiene, wearing a mask, and staying at home as much as possible. Your health and safety are our top priority. It is on behalf of our dedicated staff and our valued patients that we ask those who are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 or those who have traveled outside of the state of Georgia in the past month that you DO NOT schedule an appointment or visit our office at this time. Symptoms of COVID-19 include fever, cough, fatigue, headaches, muscle or joint aches, diarrhea, and shortness of breath in severe cases.
