Special offers for facial rejuvenation are the perfect way to reduce wrinkles and sagging skin, keep your facelift results looking their best, or enhance the results of a recent face lift at Atlanta double board certified plastic surgeon, John L. Leroy, MD, FACS office.
When asked why they chose the medical field, most doctors will talk about their passion for helping people. This is certainly true for Dr. John LeRoy. But as fulfilling as it is to see the smile on a patient’s face when they feel confident for the first time in years, he also enjoys helping those who are beyond the reach of his cosmetic surgery office. That’s why he began holding his social media charity contests four years ago. And today, the tradition continues with his Summer 2017 Charity Contest, focusing this time on veterans and military personnel.
How Dr. John LeRoy’s Charity Contest Works
Our charity contests have two stages: nomination and voting. Between now and August 4th, 2017, anyone can nominate their favorite nonprofit organization via Dr. John LeRoy’s Facebook page. When all the nominations are in, we’ll evaluate them and select four finalists. These finalists will be announced on August 7th, and you’ll then be able to vote for a winner until August 18th, 2017. The winning charity will be announced on August 21st, 2017 and will receive a $1,000 donation from our office. It’s as simple as that!
Each charity contest we host also has a specific theme. For instance, our last contest focused on children’s charities. The theme for our Summer 2017 contest is local veterans and military personnel. All of us at the office of John L. LeRoy, MD are grateful for all our past and present military service members, and we have chosen to make them the very deserving focus of our latest charity contest.
How to Win $1,000 for Your Favorite Georgia Veteran/Military Charity
Look for the top post on the page, inviting you to submit your nomination. Comment on this post with the name of a local Georgia veterans’ charity or military charity you would like to nominate.
Nominations must meet these criteria:
The organization must belong to the designated category—the Summer 2017 category is “charities for veterans or military service members”. Organizations in other categories will not be eligible to win.
The charity must hold a 501(c)(3) non-profit distinction or be a valid and charitable crowdfunding page.
The charity must be in Georgia.
Each nominator may only nominate one charity.
The charity must contribute to a greater good, identifiable through a published mission statement.
The charity may not be a previous charity contest winner (recent winners include The Tree House Inc., Remembering Ruthie Rescue, Calvary Children’s Home, and Little Nuggets Rescue).
Return to Dr. LeRoy’s Facebook page between August 7th and August 18th, 2017 to vote for a winner. Each person can only vote once, so tell your friends and family to vote, too!
As a strong believer in paying it forward, Dr. John LeRoy is honored to be able to serve others in his community (through both plastic surgery and charity contests like this one), and he would like to personally invite you to participate. By nominating and voting for a deserving organization, you’ll be able to make a difference in the lives of people who have sacrificed for us all.
Many forms of facial aging don’t simply make us look older, but also make us look more tired or unhappy. In the case of patients who have aging throughout the upper third of their faces, this is often their true concern. Between sagging skin, forehead lines, and other signs of aging, they may look like they’re either unfriendly or exhausted, even when they’re feeling cheerful and energetic. For this reason, patients often ask me, are these problems better treated with a brow lift or eyelid surgery?
Most patients think they can kill two birds with one stone by getting a brow lift, because it can make their eyes look more open while also rejuvenating their forehead. The problem, though, is that patients underestimate the difference between the severity of a brow lift and an eyelid lift. To learn about the approach I typically take to give patients the best balance between results and recovery time, check out my recent video below:
Every plastic surgery patient would love to just fast forward to their results, but the path to your best results starts long before your surgery. Our office staff hears from patients on a daily basis who are thrilled with the results they’ve received from our own Dr. John LeRoy, so we have all seen his talent and expertise first-hand. But we’re honored to announce that Dr. LeRoy has now been recognized by the premier physician-evaluating organization as one of the best plastic surgeons in the country, as reported in this month’s issue of Atlanta Magazine.
While Atlanta Magazine publishes a list of Atlanta’s Top Doctors every year, the list itself is compiled by an esteemed organization called Castle Connolly. Castle Connolly’s focus is identifying exceptional physicians in a number of specialties throughout the country. Dr. LeRoy and the other physicians in Castle Connolly’s directory have all been nominated by other doctors who trust and admire their abilities. After a doctor is nominated, Castle Connolly’s physician-led panel researches their background thoroughly to decide whether they are worthy of inclusion among the country’s best physicians, considering factors like medical training and education, board certifications, contributions to the field of medicine, professional accomplishments, and more. After this rigorous review process, Dr. LeRoy and a handful of other Atlanta physicians have been named as the best in their specialties.
As Dr. LeRoy’s patients know, this is just the latest of many career achievements. On top of providing exceptional, natural-looking results for thousands of patients over the course of over thirty years, Dr. LeRoy has developed his own line of minimally invasive procedures to meet his patients’ specific needs. These Band Aid plastic surgeries, including the Band Aid Mini Facelift, Band Aid Eyelid Surgery, Band Aid Tummy Tuck, and more, including the latest Band Aid Micro Mini Facelift, are performed in-office using gentle numbing. This cuts recovery time and cost in half while providing patients with a customized approach and natural results.
As the staff who works with Dr. LeRoy and his happy patients on a daily basis, we know first-hand how Dr. LeRoy uses his expertise and his surgical skills to produce excellent results. When a well-respected third-party organization agrees and recognizes this excellence, though, it’s always a cause for celebration.
