How Much Will My Mini Facelift Cost?
For so many of my patients, a mini facelift is an important change in their lives. It’s an opportunity to restore their confidence and a way to leave daily self-consciousness behind. However, as meaningful as your mini facelift may be, everyone needs to take their budget into account. How much can you expect your mini facelift to cost?
As a double board-certified plastic surgeon who specializes in mini facelifts, particularly my Band Aid Mini Facelift, I’m able to guide each patient through this part of the planning process. It’s important to note, though, that there are many factors that will affect your mini facelift cost.
Factors That Affect the Cost of Your Mini Facelift
While cost isn’t the only component of your mini facelift to think about and plan for, it is a part you need to consider. There are several factors that will impact your final cost.
The Type of Mini Facelift You Choose
It’s important to note that mini facelifts aren’t performed the same way by every surgeon. Each plastic surgeon performs a minimally invasive facelift in their own way, and as a result, mini facelifts can vary in price from one surgeon to another.
In my case, I also offer multiple types of mini facelifts. My Band Aid Micro Mini Facelift, for example, is an even less invasive option than my Band Aid Mini Facelift. As a result, the Band Aid Micro Mini Facelift has a lower cost than my Band Aid Mini Facelift because the Band Aid Mini Facelift repairs signs of aging more extensively.
Your Facelift Surgeon
As you consider a mini facelift, you’ll find that there are many plastic surgeons who offer this procedure, and each of those plastic surgeons has a different cost for their mini facelift. It’s important to note that there are reasons some surgeons cost more than others, though. Be sure to choose your plastic surgeon based on experience, results, and specialization, not cost alone.
Additional Surgeries
A mini facelift can be a very effective way to rejuvenate your appearance. In many cases, though, you may have aged in other areas that a mini facelift doesn’t treat. This is why many of my patients choose to combine multiple facial rejuvenation surgeries into one procedure. For example, an especially popular combination is my Band Aid Mini Facelift with my Band Aid Eyelid Surgery to treat sagging facial skin as well as aging around the eyes.
Understandably, combining multiple surgeries will cost more than having one surgery alone. However, it’s a common option because it allows you to enjoy two types of revitalization with one procedure and one recovery period.
Your Surgical Site
Mini facelifts are designed to be minimally invasive versions of traditional facelifts. Some plastic surgeons, though, still perform these procedures using general anesthesia in a hospital operating room. This will cost more overall than a surgery like my Band Aid Mini Facelift which I perform in-office using gentle numbing instead. As an added bonus, using gentle numbing instead of general anesthesia will allow you to recover from your mini facelift in about half the time.
Ultimately, every mini facelift (and every plastic surgery, for that matter) is based on your specific needs and aesthetic goals.
