Do I Need a Traditional Facelift or a Band Aid Mini Facelift?

Year after year, facelifts rank as one of the most popular plastic surgery procedures in the United States. However, since aging affects us all differently, it makes sense that a traditional facelift is not always the best fit for everyone. That’s why I developed my Band Aid Mini Facelift procedure to serve as a personalized solution for those who want to combat aging, but do not necessarily need an intensive facelift surgery.

Compared to a traditional facelift, the Band Aid Mini Facelift is performed in-office with gentle numbing, has a lower cost, a quicker recovery time and a more individualized approach. For every procedure I perform, the most important thing is that the procedure fits the patient, not the other way around. For example, if you have over six inches of excess skin, a Band Aid Mini Facelift would not be the best solution for you. On the other hand, if you are on the early end of aging or have already had a prior facelift procedure years ago, you would be a good potential candidate for this procedure.

I’ve noticed that most of my patients do not need an enormous amount of change to achieve their desired results. Because of the Band Aid Mini Facelift’s less invasive nature, patients look like a younger version of themselves post-procedure. When deciding between the two procedures, asking yourself what type of change you are looking for is a great way to narrow down the best choice for you. Ultimately, scheduling a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon is the best way to decide what procedure is right for you.
